Desirée Narango, Ph.D. is a conservation scientist at the Vermont Center for Ecostudies in White River Junction, VT. Her research program focuses on understanding how global change impacts bird and insect populations and identifying conservation solutions in human-dominated habitats. Desiree has a Ph.D. in Entomology and Wildlife Ecology from the University of Delaware, an M.S. in Natural Resources from The Ohio State University, and a B.S. in Environmental Biology from SUNY: ESF. She’s also an active naturalist and gardener who enjoys getting others excited about the natural world.
